Precise contour light guides accentuate the instrument panel, central console and other striking design structures in 30 different colour tones with continuous dimming.

The high-resolution 10.1-inch and 8.6-inch HD MMI High touch displays with touch response, available on request, fit seamlessly into the elegant instrument panel and are optimally tailored to the needs of the driver. On the upper display, the driver manages information, entetainment and navigation services; on the lower display, text input, air conditioning and various comfort functions can be controlled.

For its European brand launch, the A6 Sedan starts with two powerful engines – a diesel and a petrol engine. The petrol engine is a 3.0 TFSI1. With 340 hp and 500 Nm of torque, the six-cylinder engine accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds. Similar performance is offered by the 3.0 TDI2 V6 diesel engine with 286 hp and 620 Nm torque. All engines are equipped with the new mild hybrid technology.

The standard progressive steering system ensures powerful driving dynamics through an emphatically sporty transmission, which, especially in combination with the optional dynamic all-wheel steering system, increases agility and manoeuvrability. The optionally available 21″ wheels underline the athleticism and at the same time offer improved noise comfort.
